Belen started her career at JP Morgan, before joining Accenture as a consultant. She later joined CEB (now Gartner), a best practices advisory firm, rising through the ranks to become the youngest Senior Director to lead a commercial franchise. In 2010, she joined Egon Zehnder, where she focused on executive assessment and C-suite development. She later became head of Talent at Open Society Foundations- George Soros' global philanthropy- and built the OE and L&D functions. A year later she became the Global Head of Human Resources. She co-founded Perez Fitzgerald in 2015.
A Scottish-born Spaniard, raised in 21 cities accross 4 continents, Belen is no stranger to change. She has studied in 8 educational systems, written and published case studies with INSEAD's Global Leadership Center and the Spanish Ministry of Defense, and co-founded a college bound blue chip intership scheme, as well as a baby product company. She is a member of the British Psychological Association, a certified RYT200 Yoga Teacher, and recently completed her first marathon.
Belen holds 3 Bachelors from the University of Pennsylvania (Summa Cum Laude), an MSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD. She speaks fluent Spanish, English, Italian and French.
Simon was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in London and Sao Paulo, before being appointed aide to the Chief Executive of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc (JLT). He was subsequently COO of JLT Italy and JLT Group Strategy Manager.
Simon has also taught English in provincial Argentina, worked in economics research at Deutsche Bank, established the Argentine subsidiary of a global financial services firm, taught GMAT to MBA candidates from all over the world and completed an Ironman triathlon. Over the last 12 months, Simon has spoken on the topic of mindset in schools, universities and multinational companies in the US and Europe. Most recently, he has been leading the development of a global competency framework for one of the firm’s multinational clients.
Simon has a 1st class honours degree in Economics from Durham and an MBA (with distinction) from INSEAD. He also recently completed a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. A native English speaker, Simon also speaks fluent Portuguese, Italian and Spanish.

Ever since then, they have shared a passion for helping people and organisations excel - even as they each pursued their independent paths to senior executive positions across multiple geographies.
Supported by the latest research from fields including neuroscience, psychology, and organizational behavior, Belen and Simon founded Perez Fitzgerald to pursue their shared passion: enabling high performance for individuals, teams and organisations.
Belen del Amo Perez de Lara
Sam started his career in talent management at business technologists Atos, before moving into Executive Search with Moloney Search.
More recently, Sam has gained experience in solving the hiring needs for some of the UK's fastest growing startups and SMEs. In late 2015, he also set up a student support service, which has seen him help school pupils and university students improve their psychological approach to both their studies and career search.
Through this endeavour Sam has run a number of workshops where he shares techniques that he utilised and personally developed to dramatically improve his own academic outputs, as well as his navigation of the graduate job market. In addition, Sam regularly tutors and coaches individual students in these areas and has previous teaching experience in South Africa.
Sam holds a first class degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge.
Laura was a strategy consultant at Accenture, before joining the Prime Minister's Delivery Unit, a small performance management team that reported to Blair’s no.10 Downing Street. She later moved over to the PM's Strategy Unit, serving both the Brown & Coalition administrations. From here she was promoted to Deputy Director of Digital for the Cabinet Office, and invited to present at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. In this role, Laura worked closely with Martha Lane Fox, founder of lastminute.com.
Laura has also founded an EdTech start-up which secured investment, and was part of a team that launched a new retail bank on the British high street. She's worked with Tech City UK helping them to build out a new FinTech practice area.
Laura has an M.Phil and a MA from Cambridge University, and is both a qualified executive coach and a registered yoga teacher.
Diane’s executive career has spanned a variety of industry sectors and blue-chip companies including Channel 4 Television, The Walt Disney Company, Diageo, Motorola and BOC, and has covered a broad range of industry sectors and geographies. She was named as one of HR Director Magazine’s Most Influential HR Practitioners in 2014. In her most recent corporate role, Diane was a member of the Executive Board and Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services at Channel 4 Television. She was board advisor on cyber, data security and risk, chairing the Information Security Executive Committee.
Diane has experience of working with a variety of boards: trustee, regulatory, Government, Executive participant. She has been part of a search panel for new CEOs and Chairs and has been part of a nominations committee to appoint new NEDs. Diane has been an advisor and coach to Chief Executives and has advised on a number of issues including the transition from the role of CEO to Chair. She is currently a NED at HMRC.
She holds a BA (Hons) in Romance Languages, Literature and Linguistics, an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and is currently researching for a PhD in the psychology of creativity in organisations. Diane is a qualified and experienced executive coach, NLP practitioner, accredited mediator and is qualified in a variety of psychometric tools including MBTI, ECI and StrengthScope.
